NPIC Seminar at 2014 AAP Workshop on Perinatal Practice Strategies
NPIC President, Janet H. Muri, MBA, former NPIC Board Member, John V. Hartline, MD, FAAP, and Stephen A. Pearlman, MD, MSHQS, FAAP, presented a half day seminar at the 2014 AAP Workshop on Perinatal Practice Strategies in Scottsdale, AZ on April 5, 2014.

During the seminar, D2 Making the Best Use of Your Data: Perform Quality Improvement and Earn MOC, Ms. Muri identified a range of neonatal measures that are being collected, reviewed and/or reported on by regulators, payers and other external entities, demonstrated how currently available data sets such as birth certificate and administrative data can be a valid starting point in the development of your QI project, and shared samples of NPIC analyses that can be used to focus a QI/MOC project.    » Learn More

NPIC displayed a poster on "Perinatal Complications Associated with Gestational and Pre-Gestational Diabetes" at the 26th Annual Meeting of the Society for Pediatric and Perinatal Epidemiologic Research (SPER) in Boston, MA on June 18, 2013. President, Janet H.
