NPIC/QAS Seminar at 2014 AAP Workshop on Perinatal Practice Strategies
NPIC/QAS President, Janet H. Muri, MBA, former NPIC/QAS Board Member, John V. Hartline, MD, FAAP, and Stephen A. Pearlman, MD, MSHQS, FAAP, presented a half day seminar at the 2014 AAP Workshop on Perinatal Practice Strategies in Scottsdale, AZ on April 5, 2014.

During the seminar, D2 Making the Best Use of Your Data: Perform Quality Improvement and Earn MOC, Ms. Muri identified a range of neonatal measures that are being collected, reviewed and/or reported on by regulators, payers and other external entities, demonstrated how currently available data sets such as birth certificate and administrative data can be a valid starting point in the development of your QI project, and shared samples of NPIC/QAS analyses that can be used to focus a QI/MOC project.    » Learn More

NPIC/QAS displayed a poster on "Perinatal Complications Associated with Gestational and Pre-Gestational Diabetes" at the 26th Annual Meeting of the Society for Pediatric and Perinatal Epidemiologic Research (SPER) in Boston, MA on June 18, 2013. President, Janet H.
